The municipal council is made up of a mayor and six councillors. Its mandate is to administer, represent the municipality and provide services that meet the needs of the population. The council acts through bylaws and resolutions. It develops and implements the required action plans and oversees their implementation.
Municipal council meetings are open to the public and are generally held on the first Tuesday of each month at 8:00 p.m. in the council chamber at 505 rue Frontière. Residents can observe proceedings, show support, or raise topics for discussion. Items may be added to the agenda or addressed during the public question period at the end of the meeting.
